Anna Hart Holiday Style

What do you look for in a holiday wardrobe?

I’ve recently started colour coding and it makes everything so much easier, as all my pieces go together meaning I don’t need to pack as much! Holidays are all about relaxing so I look for clothes that are comfortable but a flattering fit. I like dresses over shorts and t shirts as they’re so much easier to throw on.

Does the look and feel of your destination affect your holiday style?

Definitely! When I go to France I only wear blue, white and red, and then for more boho destinations I turn to prints and pom poms. Dubrovnik is really laid back, like a combination of Italy and Greece. There’s no point wearing heels because all the streets are cobbled, and the majority of people wear lightweight, laid back pieces in the evenings as well as the day.

Why did you pick each outfit?

The Scallop Hem white dress is perfect for throwing on after a day in the sun, and worked really well as a cover up when I wanted to pop to get lunch. It’s lightweight and the neutral colour meant it went with everything else in my suitcase!

The Candy Seersucker Stripe dress was great for the evenings as it’s quite a smart fit. I’m going to be wearing it at home with my basic tees underneath too. The Sunday stripe dress is a textbook piece for me; super soft fabric and brilliant with a little denim jacket. I wore it to travel in too!

If you could only take one piece on holiday with you for 1 week, what would it be?

It would have to be the Candy Seersucker Stripe dress. I wore it constantly when I was away for travelling, sightseeing and in the evenings!

And finally… For anyone lucky enough to be heading that way, what’s your favourite spot in Dubrovnik?

Down one of the side streets in the old town there is a teeny, little cocktail bar. They do the best mojitos!
