With friends coming to visit for the weekend, deciding upon a Saturday morning brunch spot was imperative. London isn't short of a fabulous brunch places which makes things all that much harder as there is almost too much choice. However, it felt like this was the perfect excuse to visit the renowned restaurant, Sketch.
We walked through the grand entrance taking in the elegant decor before being warmly welcomed and directed to one of the four rooms located in this enchanting building. We had booked a table in the Parlour room, which is known for its all-day breakfast and quirky cocktails. Whilst being shown to our table we couldn't help but gaze at the chic furniture, bold accessories and bright colours that covered the room. We sat down and decided to get the hard part out of the way: choosing what we were going to order.
The breakfast menu lived up to our expectations, from dishes that are focused around free-range eggs to a traditional bowl of porridge or a pain au chocolat - there is simply something for everyone.
We finished the last of our iced lattes, paid the bill and took one more look at the beautifully decorated room.
After experiencing the Parlour I felt the urge to find out more about the other three fabulous rooms located in Sketch. If you want all-day dining and cocktails visit the Parlour, The Gallery is known for their stylish afternoon tea and blush pink armchairs, for enchanting dining, the Glade is the place for you and finally, the Lecture Room and Library is the grand two Michelin star restaurant which would defiantly be a treat to dine in.
If you are ever in London and looking for a fabulous breakfast, unique cocktails and beautifully decorated rooms then make sure to visit Sketch.
